I found all of these books at an antique mall near the town I live. Unfortunately, the books on tape didn't come with the tape- the cassettes most likely got lost over the years so all I have is the book. But I did find two read along books that come with a record instead of cassette and the records were included with the books and intact!
Disney's Sleeping Beauty~ read along book w/o cassette or CD
I couldn't find an ISBN number so had to take a picture with my phone:
Walt Disney's Story of Cinderella~ read along book with record (record was included w/book)
Walt Disney's Story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs~ read along book with cassette (no cassette with book)
Walt Disney's Story of Sleeping Beauty~ read along book with record (record was included w/book)
I had many "Golden Books" or "Little Golden Book" as a kid and millions of other children had them too to be sure! I always thought it was cool because Golden Books is a trademark/owned by Western Publishing Company which is located in Racine, Wisconsin- my hometown! :-) These are the books I've nabbed and gotten back into my collection again~
Disney's Beauty and the Beast~
Walt Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs~
Disney's Sleeping Beauty~ (just found this at a local Wal-Mart two weekends ago! Neat to have one that's brand spanking new!)
I also remember having this hardcover book as a child~
Disney's Beauty and the Beast~
I had a couple more books identical to the one above and would sit for hours using a pencil and tracing paper, tracing my favorite pictures, then taking my crayons and coloring them....lol
Last but not least, this is a non-Disney book, but a great find at a local store about a month ago. I always wanted to get my hands on the complete collection of Grimm's Fairy Tales. And for under ten bucks, heck ya!! :-)
Grimm's Complete Fairy Tales~
One of the coolest things about having a company that specializes in vintage and new toys, etc is "picking"- basically going around to thrift stores and trying to find hidden treasures to sell. I always end up finding books for myself....it's a real weakness of mine! I was lucky with the books on tape because our Savers thrift store that's in the city I live has a great selection of them! They usually put 2 or 3 of them in each grab bag and only charge $1.99 which you can't beat the price! These are the few I found recently, they are books on tape, not record:
Disney's "Winnie the Pooh" & "Cinderella~
Disney's "Peter Pan" & "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs"
"Beauty"- I haven't read this yet, but it seems to be a spin-off/version of "Beauty and the Beast"
Can't wait to read it!
"Beauty and the Beast" (non-Disney)
